It was a heavy night alright, Adrian. Tough one to take especially with the lads stepping up to the task.
Guess it's best waiting a few days to talk about more officals/video/manager challenges debate. But FIFA: Fair Play just seems redundant, more and more.
Two thing I haven't cared for by some other sports writers out there, is the “win is a win” attitude and we would have done the same in their shoes. Has the integrity of the game dipped so low? Changes are indeed needed.
Also the French can do themselves one favor before their tainted World Cup campaign. Get rid of Domenech, ye still looked shambolic.
